In A Funk
In A Funk follows a kid who is rudely awakened by a funk band busking outside his window. What then ensues is a game of musical hide and seek as the kid tries to escape the bands playing.
The film was created out of the need to produce something fun and light-hearted during a very messy couple of years. It was the combination of my unironic love of funk music and its graphic association with mid-century design/animation. I aimed to create a film that lets the audience escape into a world of music and silliness, even if it is only for a short amount of time.
In A Funk was drawn in TvPaint with background and compositing done in the Adobe Creative Suite.
